INFOKU, BLORA -The Blora Earth Charity Thanksgiving in commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia took place lively at the Blora Regency Square, Tuesday (18/8/2026).
This annual tradition has been held along Jalan Pemuda in previous years. However, this year, Sedekah Bumi Blora was centered at the Blora Regency Square and attended by thousands of people.
A total of 15,540 packages of sega berkah were successfully collected from various elements, starting from OPD, vertical agencies, BUMD, sub-districts, villages, SPPG to the private sector.
These blessings are then distributed to the community.
The Blora Earth Charity Thanksgiving was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Tegal, Forkopimda ranks, heads of OPD, BUMD, sub-district heads throughout Blora Regency, village heads throughout Blora Regency and the community.
Blora Regent Arief Rohman said that Sedekah Bumi Blora has been running for four years and is a tradition that continues to be preserved.
"Thank God, it's been going on for four years. This is our tradition in Blora. We used to celebrate New Year's Eve or the 17th, but this time we're holding it once a year," said the Regent.
The Regent explained that Sedekah Bumi is a momentum to be grateful for the various blessings that Allah SWT has given and at the same time to pray that Blora Regency will become more advanced and prosperous.

"We are grateful for the blessings that Allah has given to Blora Regency through Sedekah Bumi, how we accompany the earth of Blora," he explained.
The Regent expressed his appreciation for the participation of various parties because this year 15,540 packages of Sega Berkat were collected.
"They come from all regional government agencies (OPD), vertical agencies, regionally-owned enterprises (BUMD), sub-district heads, village heads, SPPGs, and the private sector. Thank you for all your participation and assistance. Hopefully, with this Earth Charity, the land of Blora will become even more prosperous," he said.
The Regent also invited the entire community to continue to maintain the spirit of harmony and together maintain the security and conduciveness of Blora Regency.
Meanwhile, Tegal Deputy Mayor Hj. Tazkiyyatul Muthmainnah expressed her impression and delight at participating in the Blora Earth Charity for the first time.
He assessed that the activity had a very lively atmosphere and was full of values of togetherness and gratitude.
"This was my first time participating in Sedekah Bumi Blora. I was very impressed. The event was very lively, and the community was very enthusiastic about participating in all the activities," he said.
According to him, the Sedekah Bumi tradition, which involves various elements of society, is a positive activity because it is able to strengthen ties and togetherness.
"What's interesting is that all elements of society can gather together in a friendly and togetherness atmosphere. Hopefully, this tradition will continue to be preserved and bring blessings to the community and Blora Regency," he said.
He also expressed his hope that Blora Regency would become more advanced, safer, and its people would become more prosperous.
The series of Blora Earth Charity Thanksgiving celebrations closed with interfaith prayers.
