INFOKU, BLORA – As of the time of writing, the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program has not yet reached the dining tables of students at SMP Negeri 1 Blora.
It has been more than three months since students received the MBG menu after hundreds of students experienced symptoms of food poisoning after eating the program's food.
The incident occurred on November 25, 2025. Around 204 students of SMPN 1 Blora experienced complaints of nausea, dizziness and diarrhea after consuming MBG.

Some students even required hospital treatment, while others chose not to attend school due to their health conditions.
Following the incident, the kitchen operations of the Karangjati 1 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) were temporarily suspended.
Not only was the service a problem, the incident also left trauma for students and teachers.
The school then requested a replacement of the SPPG.
The MBG service was then transferred to SPPG Alugoro 410 before moving back to SPPG Karangjati 3.
The principal of SMPN 1 Blora, Ainur Rofiq, told the press that MBG services had indeed resumed operations after the poisoning incident.
However, the program was stopped again a few months later.
"MBG had time to move again from Alugoro 410. Then it moved again to SPPG Karangjati 3," he said.
According to Rofiq, the last MBG was received by students around mid-June.
After that, until this September, there has been no further distribution of free nutritious food to schools.

"As far as I remember, there haven't been any since June 15th until now," he added.
With these conditions, students of SMPN 1 Blora have not received MBG for more than three months.
Rofiq said that this condition has both positive and negative sides.
On the one hand, students at SMPN 1 Blora do not receive government programs that some students at other schools still receive.
However, on the other hand, the temporary suspension means that the school is no longer haunted by the fear of a similar incident happening again.
"The downside is that they don't receive government programs like other students. The upside is that they don't have to worry about food poisoning," said Rofiq.
The Head of the Blora MBG Task Force, Sri Setyorini, confirmed that SMPN 1 Blora has not yet received the MBG.

A similar situation also occurred at SMA Negeri 1 Tunjungan, where the MBG service was stopped after the poisoning case.
