INFOKU, BLORA –Currently in Blora entering harvest season in 2025,the price of chilies plummeted.
The decline in prices was felt by farmers in Blora .
Previously, the price of chili was around IDR 38,000 per kilogram.
Now, it only ranges from IDR 15,000 to IDR 25,000 per kilogram.
The high price of chilies in the market has not been felt by a number of chili farmers, so they are actually worried.
One of the chili farmers in Blora, Sukir, said that his party did not feel the spiciness of chili prices at the farmer level.
"In fact, before the harvest , the price was almost IDR 40,000 per kilogram. Now after the harvest, it has actually plummeted to around IDR 15,000 per kilogram," he explained.
According to him, the fall in the price of the main commodity for mothers was due to abundant stock.
"Because the chili harvest is done together. It's called a bumper harvest ," he said.
