Four Bus Fleets for Free Homecoming for Migrants in Jabodetabek Provided by Blora Regency Government

INFOKU, BLORA -The Blora Regency Government through the Housing, Settlement, and Transportation Service (Dinrumkimhub) provides four bus fleets for the free homecoming program for Blora residents who migrate to the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) areas. 

This program aims to help migrants return home comfortably and safely at no cost.

Head of Transportation Sub-Coordinator of Blora Dinrumkimhub, Ngadiyanto said, with this program, the Blora Regency Government hopes that migrants can celebrate Eid with their families without being burdened by expensive transportation costs.

“The Blora Regency Government understands that many Blora residents in Jabodetabek, especially informal sector workers, want to return to their hometowns during Eid.

"This program is expected to ease their burden," said Ngadiyanto, while conducting a transportation safety inspection (ramp check) at the Bus Company (PO), Friday (14/3/2025).

Ngadiyanto explained that in 2025, the Blora Regency Government will provide four bus fleets with a total capacity of 200 people for homecoming trips from Jakarta to Blora.

Meanwhile, for the return flow, the District Government has prepared two buses with a total capacity of 100 people.

This program is not intended for State Civil Apparatus (ASN), TNI members, or Polri.

The criteria for participants who are eligible to participate in this program are Blora residents who work in the informal sector, such as construction workers, domestic workers, factory workers, and street vendors (PKL) and one family can register a maximum of four people.

Registration can be done online or offline through the Blora migrant association which is connected to the governor or committee.

"We have collaborated with various Blora migrant communities in Jabodetabek to facilitate registration. Residents can register through the channels we have provided," added Ngadiyanto.

Furthermore, Ngadiyanto said that the departure of free homecoming participants will be carried out from the gathering point at the Purna Bhakti Pertiwi Museum, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta (26/3/2025).

Ngadiyanto appealed to prospective participants to register immediately considering the limited quota.
