This is because the budget that should have been used for the operation of regional government vehicles was instead used to finance the maintenance of official vehicles belonging to vertical agencies. Following this finding, the Blora Regency Secretariat has followed up on the BPK's recommendations.

The budget that had already been spent in 2024 has been returned to the regional treasury.

"Yes, that's right, we have returned it to the regional treasury, according to the results of the BPK audit," said Head of General Affairs of the Blora Regional Secretariat, Widodo, yesterday (7/8).

Widodo said that the notes provided by the BPK would be used as material for evaluation and improvement.

The Regional Secretariat has stopped paying maintenance costs for non-official vehicles and official vehicles that are on loan.

In addition, his party will tighten supervision to ensure that budget circulation is in accordance with its intended use.

"We will tighten it in the future," he said.

When asked about whether the incident of financing for non-official cars could occur, Widodo could not yet provide an answer.

It is known that, based on BPK interviews with the Technical Implementation Officer (PPTK) and the Head of the General Section of the Regional Secretariat, it was revealed that the PPTK received instructions to accommodate the maintenance costs of non-official cars.

The results of an audit of official vehicle maintenance spending in the 2024 budget year recorded funds amounting to Rp 51,820,000 being used inappropriately.

The budget was recorded as financing six vehicles, including one official car loaned to a vertical agency, one official car belonging to a vertical agency, three private cars belonging to vertical employees, and one private car within the Regional Secretariat.

The BPK stated that this practice occurred due to weak supervision and the lack of firm implementation of regulations by technical officials, including the Head of the General Section and PPTK of the Regional Secretariat.
