INFOKU -Kedungsatriyan Village Located between Talokwohmojo Village, Ngawen District and Banjarejo District, the residents of Kedungsatriyan Village depend on the agricultural sector for their livelihood.
Like other villages in Blora Regency, a legend has developed that is closely related to the world of agriculture, namely that the residents of Kedungsatriyan village abstain from eating rice field eels.
According to the story of the religious leader (modin) of Kedungsatriyan village, Jumiran (56) at that time, the tradition of not eating rice field eels had been carried out by the residents of Kedungsatriyan village for hundreds of years.
This legend was also confirmed by the elder of Kedungsatriyan village, Mbah Wajib (103) several years ago.

According to Mbah Wajib, the residents of Kedungsatriyan village have been abstaining from eating rice field eels since the time of the saints.
In ancient times, saints had extraordinary powers and supernatural powers to do extraordinary things, and sometimes things that could not be explained logically in general.
This legend, began one night in the rainy season hundreds of years ago.
When the planting season arrived, the rice seeds had begun to sprout.
A rice seed thief came, sneaking around in the rice field embankment.
The thief was unaware that that night, a guardian was watching his actions.

After some time, the guardian said, “ Who is there? Why is it so noisy?” The thief immediately replied, “ I am a rice field eel! ”
At that moment, the rice seed thief really became a rice field eel.
Realizing this incident, the guardian muttered that since that night the residents of Kedungsatriyan village were not allowed to eat rice field eels.
The advice of the saint is truly carried out by the residents of Kedungsatriyan to this day.
Violating Eating Eels
The people of Kedungsatriyan do not eat rice field eels, either when they are still in the village or when they migrate out of town.

From the story several years ago there was a young man who was traveling out of town to work as a construction worker.
When lunch time came, the young man ate eel chips.
A few hours later, the young man felt his stomach start to hurt.
The young man's stomach slowly grew bigger and a week later the young man died.
Perhaps, the story about the young man above was not caused by eel chips but could have been caused by other factors.
