This figure is relatively low, so the district government plans to increase production and facilitate facilities for fish farmers .

Blora Regent Arief Rohman highlighted the low level of fish consumption among the community.
He said that the figure of 22.31 kilograms per capita per year was still far below the average for Central Java Province, which reached 39.38 kilograms per capita per year.

Moreover, the national level reaches 57.61 kilograms per capita per year.
"We hope that with the development of fish farming centers , Blora people's fish consumption can increase significantly," he said.
Arief said that his team had reviewed the cultivation of 280 catfish ponds in Panolan Village, Kedungtuban District.
The catfish pond is managed by 37 farmers. Seeing the great potential, the district government wants to make Panolan a center for catfish cultivation, while also developing the concept of educational tourism .
"Later it will be used as a catfish center, and can be developed as an educational tour of catfish harvesting, so you buy catfish but harvest it directly in the pond," he said.

Arief also asked the Head of the Blora Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Service ( DP4 ) to find a solution regarding feed prices so that livestock farmers can develop further.
In addition, he also encouraged farmers to expand their markets and develop processed products based on catfish.
