Because, the mud volcano in Oro-Oro Kesongo since Sunday (1/12) to Wednesday (4/12) has erupted nine times. In fact, not only erupted, but also released toxic gas .
Datin TRC BPBD Blora operator Agung Triyono explained that the eruption occurred because there was large gas pressure below which erupted through the gap.
“So, there was an explosion. "It's common for seasons to change ," he said.

According to him, as the cycle occurs, usually the potential for eruptions can still occur in the next week.
Therefore, the public is advised not to approach Kesongo.
"Our appeal is that the public is prohibited from approaching the Kesongo area. It is possible that during the eruption it will release toxic gas H2S (hydrogen sulfide) which can cause death," he said.
He emphasized to the public to also reduce activities around Kesongo.

"It will cause shortness of breath. Because there could be potential for another eruption. It is unpredictable when and where it will be," he added.
For that, his party installed warning signs so that within a distance of one kilometer, the community would not approach the Kesongo area. ''The safe distance is 1-1.5 kilometers.

"So, if there is an eruption, stay away from the location, stay away from the cardinal directions. Because if gas comes out, it will follow the cardinal directions.
