This is the Reason Why Bapanas Food Aid is Distributed After Voting

INFOKU, BLORA – The Central Government's policy is clear that food aid   from the National Food Agency ( Bapanas ) for  the Blora community  will be distributed after the simultaneous regional head elections ( Pilkada )

A total of 93,389 families have to wait until  December .

The policy was taken by the Blora Regency Government ( Pemkab ) to avoid political intrigue that benefits certain parties.

Head of the Food Division ( Kabid ) of the Blora Food
, Agriculture, Fisheries, and Animal Husbandry Service ( DP4 ), Nugraheni Wahyu Utami, said that  food assistance  to maintain inflation and purchasing power will be implemented in December.

The schedule was postponed because simultaneous regional elections will be held in November this year.

This policy was taken to avoid regional election turmoil.

"It was carried out after the regional elections for the food aid distribution program," he said.

He explained that the distribution of food aid was aimed at supporting  the economy  of poor people who would be directly affected if an economic shock occurred.

In the regulation, each family gets 10 kilograms of rice and has entered the first stage.

"For the Blora community, the total assistance is for 93,389 beneficiary families ( KPM )," he said.

Heni explained that the policy was taken from the central to regional levels, including in Blora, aid was not allowed to be distributed before the regional elections were over.

"The schedule listed was distributed after the regional elections, for fear that something undesirable might happen," he stressed.
