Namely, Sheikh Abdurrohim, Prince Sedah, and Prince Surobahu. He is known as one of the Sayyids.
It is believed that Mbah Benun has a close connection with the origins of Blora.
Prince Surobahu, as he was known, once destroyed the Keraman in Tuban Regency in 1625.
The Keraman referred to are several Dukes in Java who were no longer loyal to the government of Sultan Agung.
It is stated that these include the Duchies of Tuban, Lasem, Pasuruhan, Suroboyo, Sumenep, Wirosobo.
At that time, Sultan Agung was deeply concerned about the situation. Two major problems were facing him.
On the one hand, the VOC continued to develop its trading areas and colonies.
On the other hand, many Dukes were rebellious, including many riots or disturbances.
Crushing Keraman The Duchy of Tuban, which at that time was not yet a VOC colony, was one of the regencies where Keraman and rebellion from Mataram occurred.
To eradicate the keraman, Sultan Agung ordered Prince Surobahu who was also Syek Abdurrohim Mbah Benun Wali Pojok Blora, who was assisted by Bahurekso and Prince Agul-agul to eradicate it.
After receiving the command from Sultan Agung Hanyokro Kusumo Panembahan Agung Senopati ing Ngalogo Kalifatullah Abdurrahman Sayidin Panotogomo, Mbah Benun carried out the order. He was accompanied by 500 Mataram soldiers.
And thank God, thanks to Allah's help, Prince Surobahu was able to conquer Tuban and immediately returned to Mataram to report to Sultan Agung.
On the way back to Mataram, the Surobahu group passed through Jurangjero Village, now Sidomulyo, entering the Banjarejo District, to pray and rest.
Because the area was still dense forest, the soldiers had to clear the forest so that it could be used for prayer and rest.
The location where the soldiers were slaughtered is now known as Sasak Village. After spotting a clean spot, and coincidentally, there was a jackfruit tree in a corner, Surobahu rested under it. Today, the location is called Karangnongko Village.
Not long after he was in Karangnongko Village, Prince Surobahu fell ill and eventually died.
The soldiers buried him in the corner where he lay. After Surobahu's death, some soldiers remained in Sasak, but others returned to Mataram to report to Sultan Agung.
After Sultan Agung received the report, he then ordered the son of Prince Surobahu, Raden Tumenggung Joyodipo, to settle down and was awarded territory and became the first Regent of Blora.
At that time he was assisted by a younger brother named Kyai Toh Bahu who is now buried in Krapyak Cemetery, Kajangan Village, Blora City District.
