INFOKU,BLORA – From the data obtained, it turns out that there are still many internet blankspot areas , especially in remote areas .
The Blora Dinkominfo has recorded that there are 28 villages without an internet connection.
Optical fiber cannot enter, because access and infrastructure are still minimal.
Head of IT, Dinkominfo, Blora, Ahmad Hudil Khoiri, said that around 28 villages were reported to have no internet access, spread across several sub-districts. The data collection was carried out last year, at the request of the Central Java (Central Java) provincial government.
"At that time (2023), we got the data through the sub-district. "Because at that time, we will get internet help," he said.
Hudil said that the average village with an internet blank spot was far from urban areas or remote villages.

For example, in Kepoh Village, Jati District. Access to the village is quite difficult and road infrastructure is inadequate. "The internet network requires fiber optics from an internet service provider," he said.
He said that when the government and third parties want to install fiber optics in remote villages, they must take into account adequate facilities and infrastructure (sarpras). So, it requires extra energy and quite a lot of capital.
"If you calculate it is very difficult, whether you have infrastructure or not, what is clear is that remote areas such as Telkom are having problems, so there is no (internet network)," he explained.
Hudil added, if you set up a BTS ( base transceiver station ) or transmitting station equipment, it will cost quite a lot.
Meanwhile, the district government budget does not allow this.
"Around IDR 3 billion just to set up, not to mention operational costs," he said.
He continued, last year there were two villages that received internet assistance from the province.

Namely, in Japah District. Meanwhile, this year, priority is given to villages that have tourism, in Blora there is only one village, namely Singonegoro Village, Jiken District.
"This year, the priority for internet assistance from the province is tourist villages, in collaboration with DPMD," he concluded. ( Endah/ IST )
