INFOKU, BLORA –As of yesterday, students of Blora 18th Senior High School (SRMA) began returning to the dormitory to continue their academic routine.
However, their arrival was greeted with strict screening procedures, to ensure discipline and health were maintained.
Tri Yuli Setyoningrum, Head of SRMA 18 Blora, explained that all school staff were involved in registering and checking the belongings of newly arrived students. The inspections included checking for school supplies and prohibited items.
"We've started to check in now, so we're screening all our belongings, including school supplies," Tri Yuli explained to the press.
He emphasized that this screening aims to anticipate the entry of spicy foods or foods containing excessive sweeteners, because they can disrupt students' digestion.
In addition, the attributes of the silat organization are also a major concern to prevent potential unrest.
"We prohibit foods like basreng and instant noodles. We also prohibit silat attributes with images on the back," he stressed.
According to him, the school has guaranteed that students will eat three meals a day with sufficient nutrition, so they do not need to bring food from outside.
Of the total of 50 students, only one student was recorded as having not returned to the dormitory.
