The Prosecutor's Office Finally Investigates Allegations of Corruption Related to the "Disappearance" Case of the Head of the Village in Blora

INFOKU, BLORA - Law enforcement officials (APH) have started to investigate the disappearance of Rumidi as head of Nglebur Village, Jiken District, Blora Regency, who has been absent from carrying out his duties for two months.

Rumidi's disappearance has become a public concern because it has something to do with a number of stalled projects or the village budget that was taken away.

Head of the Intelligence section (Kasi Intel) of the Blora District Attorney, Jatmiko explained that his party was investigating allegations of corruption (tipikor) allegedly committed by Rumidi.

"We have just clarified several new and old village officials, or are only limited to collecting data and information," said Jatmiko in a press statement, Tuesday (22/8/2023).

Even though they are currently investigating corruption allegations, his party is not yet willing to explain in detail the total losses incurred by Rumidi.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Community and Village Empowerment Service (PMD) of Blora Regency, Yayuk Windrati, confirmed that the problems that were befalling Nglebur Village had been investigated by law enforcement officials.

"Basically, there are a lot of things Pak Rumidi brought. If that is the case, the numbers are at the Inspectorate, then now APH has also handled both the police and the prosecutor's office," he explained when met by journalists at his office, Tuesday (22/8/2023).

His party also will not interfere in the affairs of APH in investigating this matter.

"Let it become the realm of corruption, the realm of crime, but the important thing is we can save the budget," he explained

Yayuk said, his party was still trying to make the Nglebur Village government run optimally in providing services to the community.

"Usually yes, the second phase of the Village Fund must be disbursed. If the second stage is not disbursed, the third phase of the Village Fund cannot be disbursed, which is what the community suffers from," he explained.

Thus, his party has appointed the local village secretary as the acting village head for 6 months to replace Rumidi.

Previously it was reported that the disappearance of Rumidi as the head of Nglebur Village, Jiken District, Blora Regency, Central Java has become a public concern in the last few weeks.

Rumidi, who had been away from home since June 19, 2023, was declared unknown by the ranks of her village officials.

It's just that, the village officials who have just been appointed in 2021 do not know for sure Rumidi's personality when outside the office.

"I don't understand, if it's a personal problem outside, I don't know," he said. However, Mujianto admitted that there were construction projects that had been neglected the previous year.

"Yes, there are (projects) in 2022, some have even not been completed," he explained.
