INFOKU, BLORA - Thousands of dancers enlivenedthe Goa Terawang Eco Park, Todanan District , last Saturday (8/11).
The dancers performed the Mass Tayub Dance as part of the 2025 Blora Culture Festival (BCF).
This spectacular activity is one of the highlights of the BCF event, which is entering its second year this year.
Representing the Regent of Blora, the Assistant for Government and Public Welfare of the Blora Regional Secretariat, Agus Puji Mulyono, said that this cultural festival is a space for expression and creativity for the community, as well as a promotional event for the potential of this region which is rich in material.
"Blora is rich in culture , history, teak forests, oil resources, and the creativity of its people. Through this festival, we want to demonstrate that Blora's cultural diversity is a shared strength and source of pride," he said.
Goa Terawang Eco Park recently won the Wonderful Theme Park Impact Award 2025 at the 1st Indonesia Tourism Marketing Week (ITMW) in Bali last October.
This achievement shows that culture-based tourism management in Blora is increasingly recognized at the national level.
"We hope that through consistency and innovation in organizing the Blora Culture Festival, this event will be included in the ranks of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy's Karisma Event Nusantara (KEN).

"Thus, Blora will be increasingly known as a City of Culture, a City of Teak, and a City full of creative energy," he added.
The Head of the Blora Regency Department of Youth and Sports, Culture, and Tourism, Iwan Setiyarso, said that the implementation of the Mass Tayub was a concrete manifestation of the preservation of Blora's unique culture.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Blora Regency Dekranasda , Ainia Shalihah Arief Rohman, said that the implementation of mass tayub is an important part of efforts to maintain the existence of Blora culture, while also supporting the development of the region's leading tourist destinations.
"Terawang Cave, the location for this activity, recently won a national award, beating out major destinations like Ancol and Lawu Park. So, we should be proud! Before you go anywhere else, come here, capture the moment, and promote Blora," he explained.
Mother Ainia also hopes that the mass tayub events held consecutively will receive appreciation from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy through the Karisma Event Nusantara (KEN) program.
"This Tayub is a concrete example of preserving Blora's culture. The more frequently cultural events are held, the greater the impact on the local economy," he concluded. (Endah/ IST )
