INFOKU, BLORA – The central government will construct dams in Blora district.
It is planned that the dam will be built in Todanan District. The budget reaches IDR 571 billion. This year began land acquisition.
Head of Public Works and Spatial Planning (DPUPR) Blora Samgautama Karnajaya confirmed this.
The dam will block the Cabean River in Todanan District. The budget prepared by the central government reaches IDR 571 billion. Everything is prepared by the central government.
"The regions are not burdened with costs, all financing for the construction of the Cabean Dam is from the central government," he explained yesterday (12/4).
The Head of the DPUPR Water Resources (SDA) Division Blora Surat explained that the construction was being carried out by PUPR through the Pemali Juana River Basin Center (BBWS). Construction will be carried out in stages starting this year until it is targeted for completion in 2027.

This year the focus will be on land acquisition. Includes forest areas and community-owned land in the form of rice fields. There are no residential areas affected by the project.
"After all the planning is finished, of course later the community will be given socialization," he explained.
The lands affected by the acquisition are in Karanganyar Village and Todanan Village, Todanan District. This dam will block the flow of the Cabean River, which originates in the Todanan District, Blora, and flows downstream in the Pati Regency area.
Meanwhile, Head of BBWS Pamali Juana Adek Rizaldi explained, later the dam's inundation would reach 52.92 hectares. While the total land requirement is 98.7 hectares. That includes puddles, greenbelts , office buildings, roads, and public dam facilities.

"God willing, in June there will be an auction and contract signing. Therefore, we are here to meet the regent and his staff to synergize the stages of land acquisition," said Rizaldi.
Blora Regent Arief Rohman supports the Cabean Dam construction plan. He advised that before the construction process is carried out, first conduct outreach to the community and complete land acquisition for the initial stages of dam construction.
