Blora Will Soon Have a State University, with Land Development for UNY in Blora Regency Reaching 65 Percent

The initial stage is land preparation which is now entering the fourth week of the 62 day contract period.

The work progress was quite rapid. By the end of the third week, land preparation had reached 65.7 percent.

This achievement far exceeds the planned progress, which was around 9.6 percent.

Project Supervisory Consultant, Sudibyo, told the press that the work has so far proceeded smoothly without any significant obstacles.

In fact, progress in the field shows a positive deviation of around 57 percent compared to the plan.

"The contract is for 62 days, and we're now entering the fourth week. By the end of the third week, progress was 65.7 percent, compared to the original plan of 9.6 percent. So, we're quite far ahead of target," he said.

The initial work includes land preparation, embankment, and foundations.

The total volume of the embankment reached approximately 7,474.8 cubic meters, with a prepared land area of ​​approximately 7,200 square meters.

The embankment material used is in the form of aggregate or aggregate equivalent to class B.

The material was brought in from the Rembang area and has received approval from the job owner.

For the land preparation work, the budget prepared is around IDR 1.8 billion.

Sudibyo explained that the acceleration of the work was mainly supported by the large number of stockpiled items and the availability of material transport vehicles.

"The main item is the stockpiles. Once the materials are available, the transport fleet can immediately join in, speeding up the work on the ground," he explained.

Even though progress is being accelerated, material quality remains a concern.

The filling is done in stages in two layers, with each layer being approximately 30 to 50 centimeters thick.

Each layer is compacted and undergoes density testing.

The test was conducted with the UNY laboratory team.

Based on the preliminary results, the material and compaction level were declared to meet the established specifications.

"Each layer was compacted and then tested. The test results from the UNY Lab all met, and some even exceeded, specifications," explained Sudibyo.

He emphasized that materials that do not comply with the provisions will be rejected.

Supervision is also carried out to ensure that the materials used are in accordance with the approved application.

"If the fill material does not meet specifications, we will definitely reject it," he stressed.

Meanwhile, the excavated material from the foundation is not reused as fill material.

The material is simply leveled at the job site.

To date, Sudibyo confirmed that no embankment material has been found that does not comply with the application.
