INFOKU, BLORA - The Blora Regency Government through the Communication and Information Service (Dinkominfo) officially held a major joint viewing event (nobar) for the 2026 World Cup.
In order to accommodate the enthusiasm of the residents, the committee has provided two strategic locations at once, namely around the Gagak Rimang LPPL area for the Blora City area, and at the Cepu District hall, starting Friday (10/7/2026) early morning.
Head of the Public Information and Communications Division (IKP) of the Blora Communications and Information Agency, Ika Sagita, explained that the purpose of holding this joint viewing was a follow-up to the Circular Letter (SE) of the Minister of Home Affairs and to provide a positive entertainment space for the wider community.
In addition, the momentum of this world football festival is expected to strengthen ties and a sense of togetherness among the residents of Blora Regency.
"Because it was early in the morning, the crowd didn't seem very enthusiastic. Nevertheless, people still came out enthusiastically to support their favorite team," said Ika Sagita while monitoring the event.
Not just a means of mass entertainment, this joint viewing activity was deliberately designed to provide a direct economic impact for local residents. This is also in accordance with the ministry's directive to involve MSMEs in the surrounding area.
"The concept of this joint viewing event is to provide a special platform for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and street vendors (PKL) to set up stalls around the joint viewing area. This way, those who operate food stalls or other businesses can feel the impact of the World Cup," he added.
Thus, Ika continued, the presence of these spectators could bring its own blessings to the traders who experienced a significant increase in sales turnover from evening until early morning.

He also appreciated the public's awareness in maintaining cleanliness and order during the event.
"We also thank the relevant OPDs and all stakeholders who contributed to the success of this event," he concluded.
