Hey... The majority of SPPG workers in Blora are not covered by JKN

INFOKU, BLORA –From the data obtained, it turns out that health insurance for workers at the free nutritious food kitchen (MBG) in Blora Regency is still minimal.

The Blora Branch of BPJS Kesehatan recorded data from a total of 79 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG).

It was noted that only one foundation has registered its workers as National Health Insurance (JKN) participants.

Head of the Blora BPJS Health Branch, Mulyanto, told the press that currently only the SPPG Assanusiyah Foundation has joined as a BPJS Health participant.

The foundation chose the collective or independent class III non-wage recipient participant (PBPU) scheme.

"Only one SPPG has registered, namely the Assanusiyah Foundation with a collective PBPU scheme," he said.

According to Mulyanto, BPJS Kesehatan has prepared two membership schemes that SPPGs can choose from.

The first scheme is as a wage-earning worker (PPU) or business entity. In this scheme, the care class is determined based on the worker's salary.

Workers with wages equivalent to the minimum wage (UMK) up to IDR 4 million are entitled to Class II services. Meanwhile, workers with salaries ranging from IDR 4.1 million to a maximum of IDR 12 million are entitled to Class I services.

Meanwhile, the second scheme is collective or independent PBPU class III.

In this scheme, the amount of contribution paid is IDR 35 thousand per person per month.

Payments are made collectively using one virtual account number.

He hopes that dozens of other SPPGs in Blora will soon follow suit.

This is because health insurance protection for workers is considered important to ensure the continuity of services in the MBG kitchen.

"With 78 SPPGs still unregistered, we are continuing to conduct outreach to ensure all workers receive health insurance protection," he emphasized.
