INFOKU, BLORA – The extraordinary enthusiasm of the residents of Nglebak Village, Kradenan District, to improve road access in the forest area has not diminished even though the Secretary of Nglebak Village was previously named a suspect in connection with road repair activities.
Around a thousand residents again worked together to manually level the Kalikangkung-Jurug road.
The activity, which took place from 07.00 to 10.00 WIB, involved residents from four hamlets, namely Kalikangkung, Plumbon, Nglebak, and Ngandong.

They repaired a road about four kilometers long using simple tools such as hoes, rakes, wheelbarrows, and sacks.
The community service was also accompanied by the Head of Nglebak Village, the RT/RW association, Perhutani, and representatives from the Special Purpose Forest Area (KHDTK) of Gadjah Mada University (UGM).
During the activity, the situation was reported to be safe and conducive.
UGM KHDTK Director Teguh Yuwono stated that he fully supports the community's initiative to work together to repair roads.
"I said, if you want to do community service to level the road, I support it," he said.

According to Teguh, the relationship between the KHDTK management and the Village Government and the Nglebak Village community remains good, even though legal issues have arisen regarding the road repairs.
"Thank God, our relationship at KHDTK with the Nglebak Village Government and community remains and has always been good," he said.
This mutual cooperation action is a continuation of the community's efforts to improve road access, which has long been an important route for residents' activities.
Previously, road repairs in the KHDTK area came under scrutiny after the Nglebak Village Secretary was named a suspect for carrying out repairs on the section using heavy equipment. (Endah/ IST )
