INFOKU, BLORA –The Blora DPRD is paying serious attention to the legal polemic that has ensnared the Village Secretary (Sekdes) of Nglebak, Kradenan District.
The legislative body stated that it was ready to provide guarantees for a suspension of detention, so that the legal process against the village official would not have to be carried out behind bars.
Chairman of Commission B of the Blora DPRD, Yuyus Waluyo, emphasized that this step is a form of responsibility of the regional government and people's representatives regarding issues that have attracted public attention.

"The DPRD, together with the Blora Regency Government, is ready to act as guarantor in the application for a suspension of detention," he said.
This action was taken after Mariyono was named a suspect in a road repair case within the Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Special Purpose Forest Area (KHDTK). The village official was then taken to the East Java Regional Police for investigation.
According to Yuyus, communication with various parties is currently being continuously developed, so that the resolution of the case does not only rely on the legal process.
But also prioritize solutions that are acceptable to all parties.
"We continue to strive to communicate with the management of KHDTK UGM, so that this problem can be resolved properly," he explained to the press.
In addition to taking the path of suspending detention, the DPRD also supports the legal steps being prepared by Mariyono's legal counsel.
One of the efforts that will be taken is to file a pre-trial motion, as a form of testing the ongoing legal process.

Yuyus said that all available mechanisms would be utilized as long as they complied with statutory provisions.
"There is also a pretrial option which is currently being prepared by the legal team," he explained.
Mujoko, a member of the Blora Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) from Electoral District III, also voiced his support. He argued that the case should not be viewed simply as a violation of forest area regulations.
He believes that there are public interests that also need to be taken into consideration, because road repairs are carried out to facilitate citizen mobility.
"What was done was motivated by the intention of helping the community. This situation should be taken into consideration when resolving the case," he said.
Mujoko believes that dialogue between parties is still the best way to reduce the growing polemic.
He hopes that the regional government, DPRD, KHDTK UGM management, and law enforcement officials can build more intensive communication.
So that the resolution of the case does not cause turmoil in society.
"We hope this issue can be resolved wisely, without ignoring applicable regulations or the public's sense of justice," he stressed.
Previously, the Head of the Community and Village Empowerment Service (PMD) of Blora Regency, Yayuk Windrati, also spoke out.
According to him, his party will provide administrative assistance to the Nglebak Village Government, Kradenan District, so that village government services and administration continue to run optimally and without disruption.
"We will provide administrative assistance. Services to the public must not be disrupted," he said.
Regarding the village secretary's case, Yayuk also expressed concern and regret over the incident. However, she continued to respect the ongoing legal process.
"We fully respect the ongoing legal process regarding the case involving the Nglebak Village Secretary. We are handing over the case to law enforcement officials, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations," he said. (Endah/ IST )
