Wow.... There are 1,026 social assistance recipients who have been crossed out, these are the steps the Blora Social Service will take.

INFOKU, BLORA – Officially, 1,026 recipients of social assistance (bansos) have been removed from the list in Blora Regency.

This firm step was taken by the Blora Social Services, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Agency (Dinsos P3A) after detecting that there were aid recipients who were actually categorized as well-off families.

The Head of the Blora Social Services Agency (Dinsos P3A), Luluk Agung Ariadi, said the deletion was part of an effort to ensure that government assistance was on target.

"As of June, we have removed 1,026 recipients from the list because there are indications that they come from well-off families but are still receiving assistance," he told the press.

According to him, currently his party is still waiting for the latest decile determination from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), as a basis for updating data on social assistance recipients.

The public is also asked to actively check data via the Cek Bansos application.

Luluk is targeting completion of the data collection process by December, which will be carried out in collaboration with Family Hope Program (PKH) facilitators under the Ministry of Social Affairs.

"After we communicated with them, PKH residents who are already well-off will no longer receive assistance. Instead, families who truly deserve it will be prioritized," he said.

Currently, the Blora Social Service, P3A, and PKH facilitators are continuing to verify and comb through data in the field to ensure that social assistance distribution is more accurate and on target.

On the other hand, public awareness to resign emerged from Tambahrejo Village, Blora District.

At least five heads of families (KK) voluntarily relinquished their status as social assistance recipients because they felt their economic conditions had improved.

Meanwhile, Tambahrejo Village Head, Amik Kristanti, said that the five residents came to the village office to submit their resignations, so that aid could be diverted to people who needed it more.

According to Amik, this step deserves appreciation because it shows a high level of social concern in society.

"There are about five families who have voluntarily resigned. We really appreciate their awareness, as there are many other residents who need assistance more," he concluded. (Endah/ IST )
