INFOKU, BLORA - Coinciding with the 70th anniversary of Dr. R. Soeprapto Cepu Regional General Hospital, Blora Regent Arief Rohman inaugurated the Mental Health Inpatient Building of Dr. R. Soeprapto Cepu Regional General Hospital, Saturday (4/7/2026).
The inauguration is a strategic step by the Blora Regency Government in strengthening mental health services which are increasingly needed by the community.
The inauguration ceremony was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Deputy Regent of Blora, Hj. Sri Setyorini, accompanied by the Regent of Blora, the Director of Dr. R. Soeprapto Cepu Regional Hospital, and invited guests.
In his remarks, Regent Arief Rohman stated that based on global and national data, the burden of disease due to mental disorders continues to increase.
In addition, the Regent appreciated the staff of Dr. R. Soeprapto Cepu Regional General Hospital who made the 70th anniversary commemoration not only a ceremonial activity, but also filled with real steps in the form of improving health service facilities whose benefits can be directly felt by the community.
According to him, the existence of the Mental Health Inpatient Building is expected to be able to provide more comprehensive mental health services.

"To all management, doctors, nurses, and support staff at Dr. R. Soeprapto Cepu Regional Hospital, I entrust you to continue providing services with your heart. Make this new Mental Health Inpatient Building a place full of empathy, safe, comfortable, and truly humane," he said.
Meanwhile, the Director of Dr. R. Soeprapto Cepu Regional Hospital, drg. Wilys Yuniarti, explained that along with the inauguration of the building, the hospital also opened a Mental Health Polyclinic, which will be staffed by two doctors to treat both male and female patients.
In the initial stage, the service is still intended for general patients.
However, his party will continue to strive to fulfill the requirements so that in the future the mental health services can serve BPJS Kesehatan participants.
"We hope this service will not only be utilized by the people of Blora, but will also become an option for people from surrounding districts such as Bojonegoro and Ngawi," he concluded. (Setyorini)
