Meanwhile, in the Pamali Juana River Basin Agency (BBWS) jurisdiction, rehabilitation will target 168 irrigation network points. Each point will receive a budget allocation of approximately Rp 195 million, including implementation costs.

"So the total money turnover reached around Rp. 38.22 billion," said Surat.

These hundreds of hotspots are spread across various sub-districts. The largest number is in Ngawen Sub-district with 70, followed by Blora (26), Jepon (21), Todanan (16), Banjarejo (11), Kunduran (10), Jiken and Tunjungan (4 each), and Bogorejo and Japah (3 each).

According to him, the scheme not only aims to improve the quality of irrigation infrastructure, but also boost the community's economy.

"We hope the irrigation infrastructure can function better to support food security. Furthermore, because it's labor-intensive and carried out by the community, this program also creates jobs and helps reduce unemployment in each region," he concluded. (Endah/ IST )
