The police have not been able to proceed further due to allegations of overlapping land ownership.

Head of the Blora National Land Agency's Dispute Control and Handling Section, Haris Sulistiyo, told the press that new boundary arrangements could be made after the applicant had completed all administrative requirements.

These include the Tax Payable Notification Letter (SPPT), resident identity card (KTP), family card (KK), land certificate, and a certificate of heirs if the rights holder has died.

"Once the files are complete, we'll take measurements, create a floor plan, and then formulate the plan. The process takes about a week," he said.

Haris explained that the problem was suspected to be related to the former lorry track or railway tracks.

According to him, a number of old certificates were issued based on village maps without official measurements, thus potentially leading to overlapping land plots.

"Administratively, this is true, but conditions on the ground can be different. When old data is digitized, there's the potential for dual ownership," he said.

This case began with a report from Ratno, a resident of Gersi Village, Jepon District, who claimed that his land measuring around 5,100 square meters had been excavated without permission.

His attorney, Erico Setiawan, said the activity resulted in the loss of a number of teak trees and damaged his client's land.

"What we are questioning is the activity on Mr. Ratno's land that has caused damage and losses," Erico stressed.

Meanwhile, Gagat Septian Tyaskoro denied that there were any C mining activities at the location.

He emphasized that the work being carried out was only to widen road access to the public cemetery (TPU).

"This road widening is for the benefit of the community getting to the cemetery, not for mining activities," he said.

Separately, the Head of the Specific Crimes Unit (Kanit Tipidter) of the Blora Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Ipda Iwan Nugroho, in a press statement said that the investigation was still awaiting confirmation of the land boundaries from the Blora ATR/BPN.
