INFOKU, BLORA - It is said that during the Mataram kingdom, in Dukuh Jambi, Madalem Village, there was a widow named Mbok Randha.
He lives alone with his younger brother, Blacak Nyilo, they both live in poverty.
One day when Mbok Randha went to the river to wash rice, she saw a chest stuck in the glagah grass on the edge of the river.
Seeing the chest, Mbok Randha took it and opened the chest.
“Who threw the chest into the river?” whispered Mbok Randha to herself.

As soon as the coffin was opened, Mbok Randha was immediately shocked because it turned out the coffin contained a baby boy.
Because he did not have any children, he took the baby home with a piece of cloth to cover the baby's body.
On the way home, Mbok Randha gave the baby the name Jaka Sangsang.
This is because the baby was found in a coffin that was stuck (stuck).
Mbok Randha Jambi also advised anyone who has land on the banks of the river to plant glagah grass.
The meaning of Mbok Randha's message is that grass plants can be used to hold the soil so that it doesn't collapse or hold something that is washed away.

Several years later, after Jaka Sangsang grew up, his uncle and mother told him to go to the house of Begede Kuwung, whose name was Ki Mangun Dipura.
The goal is for Jaka Sangsang to become a buffalo herder.
After Jaka Sangsang met Ki Mangun Dipura, he conveyed the purpose of his visit.
Finally, Jaka Sangsang was accepted as a buffalo herder.
The buffalo entrusted to Jaka Sangsang was a roasted pancal buffalo wearing a three-colored lawe thread necklace.
When Jaka Sangsang was carrying out his duties of herding buffalo with his friends.
Jaka Sangsang released the roasted pancal buffalo from its ties.
Actually, Jaka Sangsang knew that the roasted pancal buffalo was a sacred buffalo.
However, Jaka Sangsang was not afraid at all, even when he was herding, he rode on the buffalo's back.
While herding, the buffalo ridden by Jaka Sangsang continued to walk east towards a small ditch.
The water in the ditch was crystal clear. Seeing the water in the ditch, Jaka Sangsang dammed it so the buffalo could drink.
The water that the buffalo drank came from a singgetan (dam), so the place was named "Dukuh Singget".
Love of Goddess Sumilah
Begede Kuwung has two daughters named Dewi Sumilah and Retno Dumilah.
Dewi Sumilah fell in love with Jaka Sangsang, because Jaka Sangsang's body emitted light.
However, Begede Kuwung did not approve of the relationship between Jaka Sangsang and Dewi Sumilah.
Finally, Dewi Sumilah and Jaka Sangsang tried to distance themselves from each other even though they still had feelings for each other.
One day Begede Kuwung had a guest named Ki Gede Sentono.
Ki Gede Sentono plans to marry Begede Kuwung's two children to Ki Gede Sentono's two children, namely Surangga and Suranggi.
Ki Gede Sentono also agreed, but Dewi Sumilah made one request.
"I ask for a dowry in the form of a Pancal Panggung buffalo," said Dewi Sumilah.
"That's easy. My son and I will grant Dewi Sumilah's request," said Ki Gede Sentono.
Dewi Sumilah's aim in asking for these conditions was so that Ki Gede Sentono's children would not be able to fulfill them.
This is because there is only one Pancal Panggang buffalo, namely the one herded by Jaka Sangsang.
Knowing this, the next day Ki Gede Sentono ordered his two children to meet Jaka Sangsang to ask for the Pancal Panggang buffalo that Jaka Sangsang usually herded.
If it is allowed, it will be asked for free and if it is not allowed then it will be bought at any price to get the buffalo.
Surangga and Suranggi also carried out their father's advice to meet Jaka Sangsang.
They both waited for Jaka Sangsang on the road that Jaka Sangsang usually passed with the Pancal Panggung buffalo.
From the west they saw Jaka Sangsang riding the Pancal Panggung buffalo.

Then Surangga and Suranggi asked the name of the buffalo that Jaka Sangsang was riding.
Surangga and Suranggi also explained who they were and the reason why they wanted to ask for the buffalo.
Jaka Sangsang refused and a battle took place which Jaka Sangsang won.
Sentono Cave
At that time, Jaka Sangsang's uncle, Blacak Nyilo, found out that his nephew had won the fight.
Blacak Nyilo was very happy, so Blacak Nyilo said that in the future, when the era was prosperous, the place could be called Dukuh Jigar.
Not long after, Ki Gede Sentono came looking for Jaka Sangsang to avenge the deaths of his two brothers.
Before he met Jaka Sangsang, he met Blacak Nyilo to defend Jaka Sangsang.
Eventually, a fight ensued between the two. In the initial encounter, Blacak Nyilo nearly lost.
He then ran northwest, arriving at the banks of the Bengawan Solo River.
In that place he took his weapon in the form of a spear called Tumbak Krincing Mas.
Ki Sentono was stabbed but was able to dodge so that the spear did not hit him.
The spear actually stuck in a large rock.
Then, once the spear was pulled out, the rock left a mark in the form of a tunnel like a cave that penetrated all the way to Tuban, East Java.
Seeing the tunnel, Sentono ran into the tunnel and was no longer caught.
After that incident, Blacak Nyilo gave the name Goa Sentono.
Meanwhile, Jaka Sangsang returned to Mbok Randha's house to ask for Dewi Dumilah's hand in marriage.
Mbok Randha finally complied with Jaka Sangsang's wishes.
Then they went to Ki Gede Kuwung's house,
However, Jaka Sansang's proposal was rejected and insulted by Ki Gede Kawung.
Once upon a time, it was said that Jaka Sangsang and Dewi Sumilah had promised to continue living together as long as they lived, even though they were far apart and separated.
Then, Jaka Sangsang and Dewi Sumilah fled simultaneously.
To prevent them from eloping, Jaka Sangsang stepped towards the west and Dewi Sumilah stepped towards the east.
Jaka Sangsang walked along the river bank.
Jaka Sangsang then continued his journey westward through Jigar Village to cross the Bengawan River and then pass through Kradenan Village.
After following the Bengawan River and passing through several hamlets, finally Jaka Sangsang and Dewi Sumilah were on the west and east sides of the river and they waved to each other.
Then they looked at each other and stepped closer to each other until they no longer cared about the river water blocking their path.
They continued to walk slowly but surely closer to each other, reaching out for each other's hands.

Because the water suddenly rushed, they both drowned in the Bengawan River.
It was faintly visible (moyo-moyo) that they were floating in the middle of the Bengawan River.
Because of this incident, the area was named "Kedung Moyo"
So that even now, there are occasional sightings of the two of them. (Roes/ adapted from a special source )
