INFOKU, BLORA - To reduce the percentage of employee spending by 30 percent, the Blora Regency Government needs additional revenue of IDR 600 billion.
This is because currently the percentage of Blora Regency Government employee spending is still high.
Secretary of the Regional Revenue, Financial Management, and Assets Agency (BPPKAD) of Blora Regency, Susi Widyorini, explained to the press that currently, in terms of budget posture, Blora Regency Government employee spending has reached 42 percent.

Meanwhile, the central government's policy, as stipulated in Law Number 1 of 2022 concerning Regional Government Budgets (HKPD), stipulates that the maximum regional employee spending is set at 30 percent of the total spending in the Regional Budget (APBD).
The policy will come into effect next year.
This has also made various regions in Indonesia, including the Blora Regency Government, think harder.
Because the percentage of employee spending is still mostly above 30 percent.
"We're still waiting and seeing whether it's actually been determined or whether there will be changes or something else," said Susi Widyorini.
If it is truly determined, the Blora Regency Government has conducted a simulation.
The result is that to reduce the percentage to meet 30 percent, additional income is needed.
"Once it's set, we've simulated that it will increase revenue by IDR 600 billion," he said.
Reflecting on the situation in Blora, he said, achieving Rp 600 billion in revenue is no easy feat. Therefore, alternative solutions need to be formulated.
"We hope the central government isn't too rigid. But we have a direction to go. We've discussed all the potential options," he said.
He said the government needed time to achieve the target, so it needed some leniency.
"In the HKPD Law, if we don't reach 30 percent, there's a sanction in the form of a reduction in the General Allocation Fund (DAU). For example, if we're still at 42 percent, that means there's a 12 percent gap. So, the DAU is cut by 12 percent," he emphasized. (Endah/ IST )
