INFOKU –Latest news, the police said that a peace agreement had been reached regarding the alleged wrongful arrest of the perpetrator of the baby dumping that occurred in theforest area of Semanggi Village, Jepon District, Blora Regency, Central Java, in April 2025.
The peace agreement was reached between the police as the accused and the victim of wrongful arrest as the informant, after a meeting held at the Official Residence of the Deputy Regent of Blora on Thursday (18/12/2025).
"We have a peace agreement, and we signed it together earlier. Thank God, we ask for your cooperation to ensure a more conducive situation in the future. Hopefully, this will be a lesson for all of us," Jepon Police Chief, AKP Putoro Rambe, told the press after the meeting.
Wrongful Arrest Victims Receive Scholarships and Restore Their Good Names Under the agreement, the alleged 16-year-old victims of wrongful arrest will receive compensation in the form of educational scholarships up to undergraduate level or 8th semester from the Blora Regency Government.
In addition, the relevant parties are also committed to restoring the victim's good name.
Putoro Rambe added that the victim was also willing to withdraw the report previously submitted to the Central Java Regional Police.
"After this, the party that reported us will withdraw their report there (Central Java Regional Police) after this peace agreement," he explained.
After the meeting, the victim was unwilling to provide information to the media crew and immediately left the Blora Deputy Regent's Official Residence.
Previously reported, the victim of alleged wrongful arrest with the initials AT (16) who was accused of being the perpetrator of dumping a baby in the forest area of Semanggi Village, Blora Regency, came to the official residence of the Blora Deputy Regent on Thursday (18/12/2025).
Based on monitoring at the location, AT came accompanied by three people and initially headed towards the pavilion of the Blora Regent's Official Residence.
However, the group was then directed to the official residence of the Deputy Regent of Blora, where a closed meeting was held.
