This delay resulted in the mobility of residents heading to Jepon Market being disrupted due to the long queue of vehicles.

Based on the information board at the location, this Rp 3.176 billion project was carried out by CV Nara Djaja.

The 1,010 meter long concrete road construction should be completed on December 15, 2025 after a work period of 103 calendar days.

However, until Saturday (20/12/2025), workers' activities were still visible at the location.

Some sides of the road appear to have not been concreted, so the road opening and closing system is still in effect.

"The mobility of residents going to Jepon market is hampered, because they have to queue to use the road which is currently under construction," said a local resident, Ahmad (35) to the press.

Ahmad said that the delay in the work forced the workers to work overtime until the morning to catch up.

This has sparked complaints because the road is the main access for Bogorejo residents to the trade center.

"The work is already behind schedule. It should have been completed by December 15th, according to the information board, but work is still ongoing. Workers even had to work overtime until the early morning to concrete the road," he said.

Apart from hampering mobility, this unfinished project also endangers road users.

Ahmad said that the absence of earth fill on the road shoulder or borem had triggered the accident.

"The road along the new village area hasn't been bored yet, and yesterday a hebel truck overturned," said Ahmad.

Until this news was published, work was still being rushed to complete the remaining casting on the road section connecting the Blora area with the Tuban border. (Endah/ IST )
