INFOKU, BLORA –There are 11 kitchensof the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) which serve Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) which have temporarily stopped operating.
The reason is that the operational budget has not been disbursed from BGN .
"As of today, 11 SPPG kitchens have ceased operations . Last Monday, 10 kitchens stopped operating. Today, 11 kitchens have stopped operating. This is because funds have not been disbursed," said Blora SPPG Regional Coordinator Artika Diannita to the press.
He said that kitchens whose funds were not disbursed were not allowed to serve MBG.
Artika also explained that the funds were provided by BGN via a virtual account (VA).
According to him, the kitchen stopped operating gradually.
Some have been closed for several days, while others have just stopped operating.
"We want to adjust everything at the end of the year . We'll reset everything. We'll return to normal in January," he explained.
He continued, kitchens whose funds have not been disbursed are prohibited from operating to serve MBG.
Moreover, BGN foundations or partners may not use bridging funds .
"Because the current scheme prohibits the use of bridging funds. They must be disbursed first before operations can begin," he explained.
He admitted that he did not know the time for disbursement of funds from BGN to SPPG for MBG.
BGN foundations or partners will operate after the funds are disbursed.
"It will resume operations once the funds are received. The funds come from the central BGN," Artika emphasized. (Endah/ IST )
