INFOKU, BLORA – The Regent of Blora , Arief Rohman , emphasized his commitment to encouraging the development of thecreative economic ecosystem .
For this reason, Blora will be developed into a creative economy district .
This is evident from the 2025 Blora Creative Economy Festival , which has entered its third year.
Regent Arief revealed that the day before he met with the Minister of Creative Economy to discuss the development of the creative sector in Blora.
"Yesterday, I met with the Minister of Creative Economy to discuss the creative economy in Blora. He immediately responded and asked, 'Is Blora ready to become a Creative Regency ?' I answered yes," he affirmed.
"For this reason, I have asked the Head of the Youth, Sports, Culture, and Tourism Agency (Dishubudpar) to prepare a comprehensive report on creative economic activities throughout the year, including documentation," the Regent added.
The Regent said the report would be submitted as a first step towards an official audience with the ministry.
He admitted that he wanted to have an audience with the Minister one day so that Blora could become a pioneer of Creative Districts in Central Java .
"The dream of creative economy actors in Blora is to go national, even global," he said.

The Regent also emphasized the full support of the regional government in strengthening collaboration with the Provincial and Central Governments.
Meanwhile, Abdullah Aminudin, a member of Commission D of the Central Java Provincial DPRD , expressed his deep appreciation for the rapid development of the creative economy in Blora. He even cited Blora as a benchmark for other regions.
"Friends from other regencies have asked for help to emulate Blora. Thank God, we now have a secretariat and facilities for creative economy hotspots in Central Java, with support of around Rp250 million. There are still many opportunities for collaboration in the future," he explained.
He also said that the provincial government's 'Empowered Subdistricts' program has allocated around IDR 20 billion to support MSMEs and creative economy players.
"We share this pride and hope that activities like this will become even more lively and consistent. Let's collaborate across the 17 subsectors of the creative economy. With advances in technology and IT, the opportunities are vast," he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Blora Porabudpar Office, Iwan Setiyarso, acknowledged the importance of cross-element collaboration to strengthen the regional creative ecosystem.
"Let's collaborate between the government, communities, and stakeholders to ensure the growth and development of the creative economy in Blora. We hope this sector can become a new economic force for the community," he concluded. (Endah/ IST )
