INFOKU, BLORA -The fate of hundreds of graduates of the PPG Prajab program, which was promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture , Research, and Technology in the independent learning era, in Blora is hanging in the balance.
Hundreds of graduates of the program were disappointed and felt like victims of regulations.
Deputy Chairman of the Blora DPRD , Siswanto, spoke out regarding this matter.
Siswanto said that the Blora Education Office and BKPSDM must play an active role in collecting data on the need for educational staff.

"Educators who graduated from the Pre-Service PPG program underwent education funded by the state budget . This was because the Pre-Service PPG program was a flagship program of the central government through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology at the time," Siswanto said.
According to him, with the state budget being allocated for education, he hopes that there will be no neglect, and it is only natural that the District Government is present to continue the results of the program.
"Don't let the budget that has been spent go to waste. The country has produced good educational human resources," he said.
Furthermore, Siswanto also reminded that the development of Blora Regency in 2025-2030 also includes improving the quality of human resources.

Going forward, Siswanto asked the Education Office together with the Blora BKPSDM to compile data on the need for and availability of certified educators.
" The Blora Regency Government's development mission includes six points, one of which is improving the community's human resources. The presence of PPG Prajab graduates from the region can yield results toward this goal," Siswanto explained.
The head of the Blora PPG Prajab teachers association , Rahmat Erika Arta Nugraha, revealed that there are 310 educators who are PPG Prajab graduates from Blora Regency who have not yet found a place to teach.
"My friends and I haven't taught at any school yet, either public or private," he said.
Rahmat assessed that the regional government was alpha in responding to the central government's program.
This resulted in hundreds of PPG Prajab graduates in Blora Regency not being absorbed at all.
"If the Blora government is truly present, there should be clear action. To date, no action has been taken. We even held a hearing without receiving an answer," he said.
Furthermore, according to Rahmat, the audience was a clear answer that the 2025-2030 Blora development mission to improve Blora's human resources was not through education.
"We have had an audience and met with the leadership of the Blora DPRD, but the results of the audience did not provide an answer, either from the Education Office or the BKPSDM," he said.

He, along with hundreds of his colleagues in the same situation, hopes that the Blora Regency Government will take concrete steps to fight for their fate, having previously sacrificed time to participate in central government programs.
"The PPG Prajab program includes a commitment to be ready to work as a teacher upon graduation. Because of that commitment, none of my friends can take any further steps," Rahmat emphasized. (Endah/ IST )
