Promising to Pass the PPPK, Three Fraudsters Posing as Blora District Attorney Officials Were Arrested

INFOKU, BLORA –Finally, 3 fraud perpetrators were arrested by the Blora District Attorney's Office ( Kejari ) , Tuesday (5/8). 

It is known that the three of them were fraudsters who pretended to be able to pass the selection for government employees with work agreements ( PPPK ) in Blora.

Head of the Intelligence Section (Kasi) of the Blora District Attorney's Office (Kejari), Jatmiko, told the press that his party had arrested three perpetrators who were suspected of being  fraudsters  in the sale and purchase of positions.

The sting operation ( OTT ) of the three perpetrators was carried out at a restaurant in the Kedungjenar sub-district, Blora City district, at around 11.20 WIB yesterday.

"There were three people. We received reports from the two  victims . We immediately arrested them," he stressed.

He admitted that one of the perpetrators claimed to be an official at the Blora District Attorney's Office.

"One is a resident of Gempolrejo, the other is from Randublatung.  Now , this one claims to be an employee here (at the Prosecutor's Office)," he explained to  the press .

According to him, the perpetrator was actually a contract employee of the district attorney's office, but claimed to be a district attorney's office official in order to convince the victim to trust him and use his services.

"Finally, it is hoped that they (the victims) will be willing to pay Rp. 75 million," he said.

However, while carrying out security, the prosecutor's office found a number of pieces of evidence.

"Earlier, we found a wad of cash totaling Rp 5 million. Initially, the victims were asked to pay a Rp 25 million down payment, but they refused. Eventually, each victim was given Rp 2.5 million," he explained.

Next, the prosecutor's office will hand over the case to the local police to follow up on the case.

"We'll immediately hand it over to the police for investigation," he concluded.  (Endah IST )
