INFOKU, BLORA -Nuril Istiqomah (15), a student at Blora 18 Senior High School (SRMA) succeeded in becoming the best 1st place winner in the "Letter to the President" writing competition, SMA/SMK/MA category, held by the Blora Regency Library and Archives Service (DPK).
This also proves that less than 10 days after it opened, Blora 18th Senior High School (SRMA) has immediately achieved proud achievements.
Nuril's touching and sincere letter was addressed to President Prabowo Subianto.
In the letter, he expressed his gratitude for the presence of the People's School which opened access to free education for children from underprivileged families.
"The letter expressed gratitude to the President for this People's School, for helping the less fortunate," Nuril said on Monday (28/7/2025).
Interestingly, Nuril compiled her letter in just 1 hour and submitted it on the last day of registration.
"It took about an hour to write the letter and I was the last one to collect it," he said.
Of the 46 participants from Blora, Nuril's letter was chosen as the first best winner.
The role of the teachers, especially the Principal of SRMA 18 Blora, Tri Yuli Setyoningrum, became the motivation for his success.

"Because there are 50 of us students, the children were asked to make all of them, then we chose the good ones and sent them," said Yuli, as she is familiarly known.
He expressed pride in the achievement. He described Nuril's victory as an encouragement to all students at Blora Elementary School.
"I'm so happy, because it wasn't even 10 days ago, and my child has already achieved something. And my child is so supportive, meaning he truly wants to achieve," she said, feeling moved.
For your information, Nuril is the youngest of two siblings from a family of farm laborers. Neither of her parents owned their own rice fields.
Uncertain family income makes education costs a big challenge.
