INFOKU, BLORA -Currently, the Bukit Serut tourist attraction seems to be in a state of suspended animation.
The hill that offers a natural panorama in Singonegoro Village, Jiken District is now abandoned.
The Blora Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD) also highlighted this and intends to revive the potential of the village.
Not only the department, Deputy Chairman of the Blora DPRD, Siswanto, also provided a scheme and formula to revive tourism which had been a favorite for the past few years.
Singonegoro Village Head (Kades) Sarji said that the tourism potential in his village is indeed diverse.
From the hills to the teak potential, it just lacks a touch of creativity.
"Bukit Serut used to be very busy. But now it's in a coma. Because there is no creative touch. It has been tried to be revived but still can't return to its glory," he explained.
"Moreover, the road access is less supportive. That is also a major factor," he added.
Sarji said that Bukit Serut had received Rp 100 million in provincial government funds for its development.
"Back then, during the inauguration, it was visited directly by the former Governor of Central Java, Mr. Ganjar. It was crowded, bro," he said.
He also hopes that in the future the young people in his village can provide a creative touch so that it can return to glory.
This condition also received attention from DPMD Blora .
Because, the potential of Singonegoro Village really needs to be developed and revived.
"The first is we will conduct an evaluation and identify what the problems are. Whether it is the infrastructure or the management of tourism," said Head of DPMD Blora Yayuk Windarti.

According to him, it is necessary to re-conceptualize what the actual tourist attraction of the hill is.
" Fix the infrastructure. Good promotion, offer local uniqueness that is not available anywhere else," he said.
"Later, coordination with related agencies. Such as DPUPR for infrastructure, Dinporabudpar for tourism links, and also us as the management,'' he added.
He admitted that he had discussed it with the local village head.
"We have discussed it, we will immediately improve it by studying tourism management," he explained.
Blora DPRD
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the Blora DPRD, Siswanto, also provided a recipe for reviving the Bukit Serut Tourism which had been in a coma.
"The village government must collaborate with local young entrepreneurs. The creativity of young people who are persistent in business can be used to stimulate the tourist spot. And, also collaborate with business consultants or practitioners who specialize in tourism,'' he explained.
Regarding the budget, according to him it can come from certain sources.
"The funding can be through village funds or by attracting investors. If you want to attract investors, it must be polished from the beginning from the village," he said.
"Can work together with HIPMI friends. Later we will look for a capital solution,'' he explained.
According to him, Singonegoro Village should be grateful for the natural wealth it has.
"Because not all villages have tourist attractions. Therefore, this needs to be developed. Moreover, the creativity of its young people is accommodated,'' he said. (Endah/ IST )
