INFOKU, BLORA - The commemoration of International Workers' Day (May Day) 2025 in Blora Regency, Thursday (1/5/2025), took place in an atmosphere full of togetherness between the Government, workers' representatives, and business actors.
The event, which took place at the Blora Regency Industry and Manpower Service's Job Training Center (BLK), was marked by the handover of 100 basic food packages to workers in the Blora area as a form of concern and appreciation for their contribution.
Also attending the event were the Deputy Regent of Blora, Hj Sri Setyorini, Head of the Blora Manpower Office, Chair of the Blora Indonesian Employers Association, business actors and worker representatives.
Blora Regent, Arief Rohman, expressed his appreciation to workers and companies in Blora who have maintained harmonious relations.
"From Blora, May Day was peaceful and conducive. We appreciate the companies that have worked together with their workers. We also thank the workers for contributing to economic growth in Blora," he said.
The Blora Regent continued by emphasizing the commitment of the Blora Regency Government in supporting regional economic progress through easy licensing for investors and also regional conduciveness.
"Hopefully Blora's economy will improve. We will continue to encourage investment in Blora by providing easy licensing," he added.
Including, the Government will continue to encourage the improvement of the quality of human resources in Blora, by providing training.
Also ensuring the protection of rights and providing social support for workers in Blora.
He also highlighted data from the Ministry of Finance, which showed that unemployment rates in Blora were starting to improve, but poverty rates were still a challenge.

Therefore, the local government will continue to encourage the growth of industries that can absorb a lot of workers. So it is hoped that both employers and workers can establish good relations.
