INFOKU, BLORA -Blora Police deployed all forces to secure the night of takbir ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah through Operation Ketupat Candi 2025.
Blora Police Chief, AKBP Wawan Andi Susanto, emphasized that all personnel, including from the Polsek ranks, were deployed to ensure the situation remains conducive.
This step was taken to anticipate potential traffic jams and crime which often increase ahead of holidays.
Securing takbir night is the main focus of the Blora Police in order to provide a sense of security and comfort for the community.

"We involve all personnel of Operation Ketupat Candi 2025 and Polsek ranks to guard the night of takbiran. The goal is to prevent congestion at vulnerable points and minimize criminal acts," said AKBP Wawan in his statement, Sunday (30/3/2025).
Previously, the Blora Police have issued a firm appeal regarding the implementation of takbiran. The Police Chief reiterated that takbir keliling using "sound horeg" or loudspeakers is strictly prohibited.
"We have conveyed, takbir keliling with horeg sound disturbs the comfort and solemnity of takbiran night. The community is urged to perform takbir in their respective villages or mosques," he added.
This ban is not without reason, because excessive use of sound systems often triggers tension between residents and disturbs public order.
Blora Police invites the public to create a more solemn and harmonious takbiran atmosphere by utilizing local facilities, such as mosques or prayer rooms, so that the Eid al-Fitr celebration can take place meaningfully.
With this maximum security, the Blora Police hope that this year's takbiran night will run smoothly without any obstacles.
The public is asked to support police efforts by complying with existing regulations for the sake of mutual security.
