INFOKU, BLORA - In order to commemorate the 147th Kartini Day and the 54th PKK Movement Unity Day (HKG), the Blora Regency PKK Movement Team held a fish seed release activity and a tree planting movement as a form of concern for the environment and food security.
The activity was carried out at the Randugunting Dam, Japah District, Thursday (23/4/2026).
A total of 2,000 tilapia fry were released into the reservoir, along with the planting of fruit tree seedlings, such as avocado and mango, around the dam. This activity involved the Japah District Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK), village PKK groups throughout the district, and the Japah Sub-district Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimcam).
The Chairperson of the Blora Regency Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK), Hj. Ainia Shalichah Arief Rohman, in her remarks stated that the 54th HKG PKK commemoration is an important momentum to strengthen the PKK's role as a strategic partner of the government in family development.
"PKK exists not only as a social movement, but also as a real force in improving community welfare, starting from the family," he said.
He also emphasized that the spirit of Kartini Day must continue to be kept alive as an inspiration for Indonesian women's struggle to achieve opportunities, equality, and an active role in development.
"Kartini paved the way. Our task is to continue that struggle with concrete work," he added.
According to him, the activities of planting trees and releasing fish seeds are not only symbols of environmental concern, but also reflect a commitment to building food security and sustainability for future generations.
"What we plant today, God willing, will provide great benefits in the future," he continued.
Ainia also encouraged all PKK cadres to continuously improve their capacity, strengthen synergy, and innovate in implementing the 10 Main PKK Programs. "Make the family the center of development, because strong families will create a prosperous and competitive society," she concluded. (Setyorini)
