INFOKU, BLORA –Another death toll from a fatal accident at the PKU Muhammadiyah Blora Hospital building development project has increased.
Head of Public Relations of Blora Police, Assistant Commissioner of Police (AKP) Gembong Widodo said that one person died a month after the deadly tragedy occurred.
"Yes sir, another person died. He died this morning at 08.10 WIB. The victim is named Rinduan, from Greneng Village, Tunjungan District, Blora Regency," said Gembong to reporters, Sunday (9/3/2025).
Before dying, the victim had been treated at the PKU Muhammadiyah Blora Hospital and had been referred to the Moewardi Solo Hospital.
"Previously, the victim was referred to Moewardi Hospital Solo and had returned home. Then on Thursday, March 6, 2025, the victim was admitted to PKU Hospital again. And this morning he was declared dead," he said.
Meanwhile, regarding the cause of death, his party is still waiting for information from the PKU Muhammadiyah Blora Hospital.
"As for the cause of death, we are still waiting for medical records from the hospital, whether it was due to yesterday's injury, or there was another cause," he explained.
In total, the death toll was 5 people and the number of survivors was 8 people.
Previously reported, a fatal incident occurred when 13 workers on the PKU Muhammadiyah Blora Hospital building development project fell from a height of 12 meters, due to the crane lift rope they were riding breaking, on Saturday (8/2/2025). (Endah/ IST )
