INFOKU, BLORA - The General Chairperson of the Association of Regional People's Representative Councils of All Indonesian Districts (ADKASI), Siswanto, is currently designing a retreat program for DPRD leaders throughout Indonesia.
The Deputy Chairman of the Blora DPRD explained that this retreat program aims to increase the capacity of DPRD leaders and strengthen synergy with the vision and mission of regional heads and central government programs.
He also said that this plan had been consulted with several relevant ministers.
"Yesterday there was a retreat for regional heads, now we from the DPRD also want to hold something similar. We have consulted with the Minister and plan to work with Lemhanas. We hope that the DPRD leadership can attend this retreat," said Siswanto, Tuesday (11/3/2025).
According to Siswanto, this retreat is not only aimed at improving the competence of DPRD leaders, but also as a form of support for the President's strategic policies, such as industrial downstreaming, food security, and the Joint Mobilization of Mutual Cooperation (MBG) program.
"This retreat is expected to provide broader insight to DPRD leaders in supporting national policies, including downstreaming, food security, and MBG," Siswanto added.
Furthermore, Siswanto emphasized that ADKASI has an important role in bridging the interests of district DPRD throughout Indonesia.
"ADKASI is a forum for district DPRD throughout Indonesia. Currently, we are in 415 districts with around 17,500 leaders and members of the DPRD who are members," Siswanto explained. (Setyorini/KOM)
