INFOKU, BLORA - Thousands of participants from various levels of society filled Blora Square to take part in the 2024 Merdeka Healthy Walk, to celebrate the 79th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, Sunday (1/9/2024) morning.
A number of attractive prizes are provided by the committee at this event. Starting from dispensers, magicoms, irons, stoves, LED TVs, fans, washing machines, refrigerators, mountain bikes, electric motorbikes, to the Grand Prize of 2 motorbikes.
Blora Regional Secretary, Komang Gede Irawadi, SE., M.Si., released the healthy walk participants by raising the starting flag as a sign of the start of the Merdeka Healthy Walk.

The route for a number of main roads in Blora, namely, starting from Blora Square - Pemuda Street - Pancasila Monument - Ketangar gas station intersection - GOR Street - Gunung Wilis Street - RA Kartini Street - finish Blora Square.
The activity was also combined with the launching of Car Free Day Blora Regency, which is planned to be held every Sunday starting at 06.00 WIB.
The launch of Car Free Day was marked by a balloon flight by the Chairperson of the TP PKK of Blora Regency, Ainia Shalichah.
Regional Secretary Komang Gede Irawadi, expressed his appreciation for the implementation of the Merdeka Healthy Walk.

"On behalf of myself and the Blora Regency Government, I would like to express my appreciation to all the people of Blora who participated in enlivening the Merdeka Healthy Walk this morning. I would also like to thank all parties or sponsors who have supported the implementation of this event,'' said the Regional Secretary.
Regarding Car Free Day, Komang Gede Irawadi invited all Blora residents to enliven the activity which will be held every Sunday morning.
"Earlier, we launched Car Free Day which we will hold every Sunday morning at 06.WIB. I hope all people can join in," he added.
On that occasion, Komang also reminded the public about the Blora Culture Festival activities scheduled to take place at the Kridosono field on September 6-7, 2024.
"We invite the people of Blora, later on September 6-7 at the Kridosono field, the Blora Culture Festival 2024 will be held, let's enliven it together," he added. (Setyorini)
