INFOKU, BLORA - Compensation for land acquisition is being questioned by residents of Karanganyar Village, Todanan District, who are affected by the Cabean Dam project in Blora.
Even though the project is already underway, it is still around forest land that has been released by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK).
Karanganyar Village Head, Imam Widodo explained that residents whose land was affected wanted the compensation process to be carried out immediately by the government .
Residents want clarity on the amount that will be given.

"We also hope that the amount of compensation will be satisfactory and that residents will be happy," he said.
Imam admitted that currently his party is still discussing with residents whose land is affected by the development.
The government has conducted outreach to residents several times.
"We are still in the process of receiving information, I will inform you later," he explained.
It is known that the total land requirement for the dam is 98.7 hectares.

Meanwhile, the dam inundation reaches 52.92 hectares. The construction of the Cabean dam is budgeted from the central government at around Rp 520.3 billion.
Land Price
Head of Water Resources (SDA) of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (DPUPR) Blora Surat revealed that the appraisal process for the land of affected residents could not yet be started.
The plan is that next week the relevant stakeholders will start another coordination meeting to determine the area of land affected by residents.
"The appraisal process has not yet begun, the initial stage is that the implementing team will hold a coordination meeting, socialization to the community, and then the implementing team will carry out factual verification of the affected land," he said.
The letter continues, after that the land that has been recorded for release will undergo a calculation or appraisal process.
As a step to determine the amount of compensation that will be received by residents affected by the construction of the Cabean dam.
"Replace according to applicable laws," he explained.
The letter revealed that the dam construction project is currently underway.
However, it is still on land that has received permission from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. It has not yet penetrated the land of affected residents.
