INFOKU, BLORA –In a matter of days before the 2024 Pilkada candidate registration period on August 27, the competitive map in the Blora Regency Pilkada is still unclear.
Abu Nafi, one of the senior PPP politicians in Blora, who was previously predicted to be a candidate for Regent ( Caup ) of Blora, has not yet received a recommendation from the center.
The name Abu Nafi himself is actually one of the strong candidates for Blora Regional Head.
He is being paired with a young PDIP politician who is also Bambang Pacul's staff, Andika Adikrisna in the 2024 Blora Regency regional elections.

Chairman of the PDIP Blora DPC M. Dasum said that the Abu Nafi-Andika duet was believed to be able to fight against the ten political parties that supported incumbents Arief Rohman and Sri Setyorini ( Asri ).
Moreover, the figure of Abu Nafi is very well known and close to the public , plus his high electability.
Plus the figure of Andika who is a young politician with many achievements and innovations for society.
So, the Abu Nafi-Andika duo is predicted to be the most ideal pair to be championed in the 2024 Blora Regency Pilkada.
"We from PDIP will continue to nominate the best cadres we have. "God willing, Mas Andika Adikrisna will come forward," said Dasum.
“For PPP, Mbah Abu Nafi. We prepare first. "The aim of this nomination is for the welfare of the people of Blora Regency in the future," he added," he added in a press statement.
However, with no clear signal regarding recommendations from the central PPP, Abu Nafi's fate in running for the 2024 Blora Regional Election is still in limbo.
Yes, the lack of clarity regarding candidate recommendations has certainly hampered the PPP politicians' steps.
In fact, with the latest Constitutional Court decision , number 60/PUU-XXII/2024 MK regarding nomination requirements for the 2024 Regional Election, PDIP could nominate its own candidate pair.
But does PPP not want to nominate its best cadres in the Blora regional elections?
And instead chose to give his support to the non-cadre PPP incumbent held by KIM Plus?
This important decision is certainly eagerly awaited by the people of Blora, especially Abu Nafi's supporters.
