INFOKU,BLORA -The Operations and Maintenance (OP) Division of the Bengawan Solo River Basin Center (BBWS) collaborated with the Blora Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning Service (DPUPR) to hold joint inspections and alerts at a number of locations where the Bengawan Solo river landslide was located in Blora Regency, Monday, April 24 2024.
Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Service (DPUPR), Samgautama, explained that the handling of river landslides in Panolan Village, Kedungtuban District, Gadon Village and Ngelo Village, Cepu District, was handled in collaboration with the Bengawan Solo River Basin Center (BBWS).
"The plan for the four landslide points will soon be handled in collaboration between the BBWS Bengawan Solo OP Division and the Blora Regency PUPR Service," explained Samgautama when carrying out inspections and re-measurements at the location.

Implementation of landslide handling will start this week and last for the next two months.
He explained that the first thing that would be handled was the landslide on the Ngloram - Gadon road.
"Tomorrow's plan is to mobilize materials in the form of steel sheet piles and heavy equipment within the next month. It is hoped that this can be completed so that the traffic flow on this road section can quickly recover and run smoothly again," he said.
After that, it continued with handling landslides in Panolan Village, Kedungtuban District, with wooden sheet pile construction and the sequence and handling of landslides in Ngelo Village, Cepu District at two points with the construction of Bronjong taluds.
During construction, continued Samgautama Karnajaya, vehicle traffic will temporarily be completely closed and traffic will be diverted via alternative roads in the villages of Ngloram and Gadon.
"We apologize to the people around Ngloram Village and Gadon Village," said the Head of the Blora Regency PUPR Service, Samgautama.
Accompanied by the inspection of the Head of Water Resources (SDA) Surat and the Head of Highways Danang Adiamintara, while BBWS Bengawan Solo was attended by PPK OP 4 Satker OP BBWS Bengawan Solo Sector along with technical staff. (Endah/KOM)
