INFOKU, BLORA –This year additional public road lighting (PJU) will be realized, a total of 480 lights on a number of district roads.
This was done by the Blora Regency Government taking into account the many complaints from residents.
Head of the Road Equipment Facilities and Infrastructure Division of the Blora Housing, Settlement and Transportation Service (Dinrumkimhub) Peny Astuti explained to the press that there were many suggestions from the public regarding lighting district roads at several points.
So, this year the Blora Regency Government ( Pemkab ) is trying to make it happen by installing 480 PJU points.
"For 2024, there will be the addition of approximately 480 new PJU lights," he said.
Peny explained that this amount would be distributed on a number of district roads.

Including roads built through the Blora Public Works and Spatial Planning Service ( DPUPR ) in several years during the Regent's period in office.
"The Regent is aggressively building roads, this procurement includes these road sections," he said.
Regarding the total budget disbursed by the district government for the procurement of PJU this year, he admitted that he needed time to calculate it.
This is because the procurement process is divided into each road segment.
The value varies, between tens to hundreds of millions. Peny said, there are several choices of PJU models that will be installed, such as LED using solar power and using the PLN network.
Currently, the party does not choose PJUs with mercury light bulb material. Because it's not environmentally friendly.
So, maximize LEDs from several lighting provider services. "We procure it in e-catalog, yes, with different providers," he explained.
He said that the addition of PJUs this year would certainly not be able to cover the street lighting needs of several district roads in Blora as a whole.

However, his party is still trying to make the additions gradual.
