INFOKU, BLORA – A strict policy will be implemented regarding advertisements and billboards that violate the rules.
It is suspected that there are many unlicensed advertisements that endanger road users.
Apart from that, the Blora Regency Government ( Pemkab ) plans to collaborate with village and sub-district governments to optimize the advertising sector.
Regional Revenue, Management, Finance and Assets Agency ( BPPKAD ) Blora Slamet Pamudji explained that many billboards and advertisements were in violation of the rules.
Thus, it has an impact on the aesthetics of urban planning. In fact, it endangers road users. Like headbands across the street.
“We have discussed billboards, headbands that cross roads like in Cepu. That means it's all unauthorized. "Finally, according to our agreement, this is not permitted," he said.

Mumuk, his nickname, said he would immediately take down billboards and advertisements that were put up without paying attention to the rules. As stated in Minister of Public Works Regulation Number 20 of 20210 concerning Guidelines for the Utilization and Use of Road Parts.
"There are no regulations, advertising or information media crossing the road is not allowed," he stressed.
He continued, unless the place had been designed for advertising.
Light the Target
And, obtaining permission from the district government to use advertising services which are spread across several points in the Blora area.
"The advertising tax that we receive is from billboards whose placement complies with the regulations," he said.
From BPPKAD data at the end of last year, revenue from the advertising tax sector was realized at IDR 1.11 billion from the target of IDR 1.05 billion.
According to Mumuk, this amount is still not much compared to the potential advertising tax in the field.
"Even though we have achieved the target, we haven't achieved much, we are still trying to optimize it," he said.
He explained that he would collaborate with sub-districts and villages to optimize local revenue ( PAD ) for the advertising sector.
