The Keser-Nglangitan-Tunjungan Presidential Road was reviewed by Bappenas during a visit to several strategic projects.

INFOKU, BLORA -A number of  national strategic projects  ( PSN ) in  Blora   were directly reviewed by the Head of the National Development Planning Agency ( Bappenas ) Rachmad Pambudy.

This visit was conducted to ensure the implementation of infrastructure development funded by the State Budget (APBN) .

One of the locations inspected was the Keser-Nglangitan-Tunjungan section of  the Presidential Instruction Road  . Construction on this road has now reached nearly 70 percent completion.

The 5.5-meter-wide, 4.99-kilometer-long road section was constructed using a budget of over IDR 26 billion, with a target completion date of the end of this month.

In addition to reviewing the road project, the Head of Bappenas also visited Ngawen Market, which this year received a rehabilitation budget allocation of IDR 30 billion.

Not only that, the group also visited the Cabean Dam Project, which has a budget value of IDR 499 billion with a construction target of 2023 - 2026 .

Rachmad Pambudy said that all of these projects are part of a national program funded by the state budget.

His party wants to see firsthand the realization of the use of Presidential Instruction funds that have been allocated for infrastructure, especially the road sector .

"We've started calculating the total length of roads needed across the country. We'll determine which ones need to be built at the national, provincial, and district/city levels," he said.

Furthermore, he explained, Bappenas has set criteria for roads that will be funded by the APBN.

On that occasion, his party expressed appreciation to the Central Java-DI Yogyakarta National Road Implementation Agency ( BBPJN ), which has collaborated in implementing development in Blora Regency .

Meanwhile,   Blora  Regent Arief Rohman  said that this year Blora received an allocation of almost IDR 100 billion for Presidential Roads spread across four regions.

"Hopefully, this road construction will provide widespread benefits to the community and accelerate economic growth. We will also continue to propose infrastructure development projects requiring significant budgets to the relevant ministries," said the Regent. ( Endah/ IST )
