INFOKU, BLORA -Rat traps using electric current installed in rice fields in Dukuh Kedungbanteng, Sidorejo Village, Kedungtuban District, Blora Regency, Central Java brought another victim.
A man named Suwarno (62), a local resident, was the victim of an electric shock from a rat trap installed in his neighbor's rice field.
The victim was first found by Karjono bin Sudarman (60), who then conveyed it to Masturi (50), both of whom are residents of Dk. Kedungbanteng Ds. Sidorejo District. Uterus
Knowing this, the two of them then informed the local village official, namely M. Abdul Gofar (55).
By Abdul Gofar, the incident was reported to the Kedungtuban Police with Police Report: LP/Gangguan/15/XII/2023/SPKT/Sek Kedungtuban/Res Blora/Jateng, dated 31 December 2023.

According to witness testimony, on Sunday (31/12/2023) at around 15.30, the victim went to the rice fields to see his rice fields.
However, at around 17.00, witness Karjono, who was also looking at the condition of his rice field, saw the victim lying in Ahmad Mustakim's (34) rice field.
Knowing this, Karjono then called Masturi (50) to see the victim's condition. Next, Karjono turned off the electricity coming from the water pump house in Anto's rice field.
Karjono reported this incident to M. Abdul Gofar as the local village official who then reported it to the Kedungtuban Poksek
After receiving the report, the Kedungtuban Police together with Koramil, Sat Pol PP and the Ketuwan Health Center medical team immediately went to the crime scene.
Together with residents, the victim's body was then evacuated to undergo an examination of the victim's body. When examined, the victim was already dead.

According to the medical team, the victim's body was found to have burns on the thumb, index finger and middle finger and no signs of violence or abuse were found and the victim's body was then handed over to the family for proper burial.
Kedungtuban Police Chief, AKP Sujiharno confirmed the incident. According to Sujiharno, the appeal not to install rat traps in rice fields using electricity has been socialized to the community.
Blora Police Chief AKBP Jaka Wahyudi through Kedungtuban Police Chief AKP Sujiharno again appealed to the public not to install rat traps in rice fields using electricity, because this has claimed many victims. (Endah/ IST )
