Blora  Regent Arief Rohman said in a press statement  that his party is ready to receive complaints if there are members of the public who need consultation or have objections regarding the tax increase.

"If you have questions or complaints, like last year it was this much, and now  it's  this much, different from the neighbors, or whatever,  you can raise those  concerns," he explained.

Regent Arief acknowledged that there had been a previous increase in the property tax, for example, from Rp 4,000 to over Rp 50,000. He explained this.

"For example, the location was originally just empty land. Now, a building has been erected on the land. The tax automatically increases. The NJOP (taxable sale value) for empty land hasn't increased," he explained.

Around 23.5 percent

Meanwhile, Blora Regency Regional Secretary Komang Gede Irawadi explained to reporters that the overall and average increase in PBB from 2024-2025 was only 23.5 percent.

"That's the average. Some are above that. Some are below that. In fact, some are below 2024. Some are set at 0. No payment at all," he said.

According to Komang, the tax increase isn't extreme. His party is seeking a middle ground that fits the community's means.

"The increase isn't extreme. We're looking to meet the community's needs. So, it's not the maximum, but there's still an increase," he concluded.  (Endah IST )
