Losses estimated at IDR 30.69 billion in the Ngawen Market Fire

INFOKU, BLORA - The latest developments at Ngawen Market after the fire disaster were reviewed directly by the Regent of Blora, H. Arief Rohman, Tuesday (9/1/2024).  

The Regent was present accompanied by the Dandim Kodim 0721/Blora, representatives of the Police Chief, the Head of the BPBD Executive, the Head of the Dindagkop UKM, the Head of the P3A Social Service, Plt. Head of the Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Service, Baznas, and Forkopimcam Ngawen, Wednesday (10/1/2024).

Apart from that, he also monitored the investigation process being carried out by the Blora Police Inafis Forensic team.

The Regent also held dialogue with representatives of traders who were victims of the fire because their merchandise was burnt, and handed over symbolic assistance to 30 traders as a form of concern.

Assistance in the form of basic necessities and a number of household needs. The rest will be handed over by the relevant Department to all traders who suffered losses due to this fire.

"Please be patient, sir, ma'am, we are all sorry and concerned about this fire disaster. The government will continue to assist so that traders can return to selling soon," said the Regent.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Blora UKM Dindagkop, Kiswoyo, said that the total losses due to this fire disaster reached tens of billions.

"The estimated loss due to the Ngawen Blora Market fire is IDR 30.69 billion. The details are the building value IDR 15.5 billion, the loss of 60 kiosk traders IDR 608 million, the loss of 800 stall traders IDR 14.29 billion, the loss of 150 basic traders IDR 300 million," said Kiswoyo.

"The fires are in Blocks A to Block Kiswoyo.

Meanwhile, according to him, the number of trading stalls that were burned was 800 Los traders' stalls, 150 courtyard stalls and 60 stalls were declared burnt. 

"The 71 stalls affected were heavily and lightly damaged. To this day, the fire brigade is still on standby at the market location to extinguish the fire point which is still emitting smoke," concluded Kiswoyo. (Endah)
