Civil Servant Denies Allegations of Conditioning the Winner of the Public School Construction Tender

MY INFO, BLORA – Finally , an employee of the Blora Housing, Settlements, and Transportation Agency (Dinrumkimhub) denied allegations of involvement in conditioning and the alleged giving of Rp. 300 thousand in connection with the winning partner for the tender for the construction of the People's School.

Head of the Traffic Section of the Blora Transportation Agency, Setiyono, explained that his meeting with the partner happened by chance.

He admitted that he had known the partner since 2016 when they met on a transportation route in the Cepu area.

"Then we met again at the SlapaJaz cafe. My colleague asked me for help because he was receiving calls from the Blora media. I then contacted someone known to the media," he explained to the press.

Setiyono admitted that he was not aware of the giving of money as alleged, including the nominal amount of IDR 300 thousand.

The money is given directly from the partners and media.

"I don't know and have never managed the use of the money and I don't know the nominal amount either," he explained .

He said the meeting with the partner took place outside of working hours.

The meeting took place on Friday night at SlapaJaz Cafe.

“Friday night at SlapaJaz at 9:00 p.m.,” he said.

Setiyono apologized if the issue caused unrest in the community.

He hopes that this issue can be viewed based on facts and statements from each party.

Previously, activist Lilik Yuliantoro alias Mat Tohek walked back towards the prosecutor's office and the Blora DPRD.

Are Civil Servants Sanctioned?

He requested that the matter be followed up firmly, if violations were found to have been committed by the ASN with the initials STY and reported to the prosecutor's office.

"What we're asking for is simple: if there are violations, don't cover them up. Civil servants found to have violated the law must be sanctioned, and contractors must also have the courage to provide clarification and apologize to the public," he said.

Apart from the alleged involvement of ASN, Lilik also highlighted the alleged giving of Rp. 300 thousand.
